URL Routing issue on Godaddy hosting ASP.NET 4 and IIS 7

0

I have my website deployed on Godaddy hosting with following configurations

ASP.NET 4.0 Microsoft IIS 7.0 Godaddy Hosting SQL Server 2008

I have implemented URL routing in my all pages. This works perfectly on my development machine but the same is not working after deployed on hosting environment.

Does anyone have such issue resolved and can help me?

When you are using URL routing you will have to add following code in your web.config file under system.webServer node.

<modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"> <remove name="UrlRoutingModule" /> <add name="UrlRoutingModule" type="System.Web.Routing.UrlRoutingModule, System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" /> </modules> <handlers> <add name="UrlRoutingHandler" preCondition="integratedMode" verb="*" path="UrlRouting.axd" type="System.Web.HttpForbiddenHandler, System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a"/> </handlers>

Save your web.config file and replace it on your Godaddy hosting. This should resolve your issue.
